Dr Neringa Gaubiene specialises in artificial intelligence and digital technologies, one of the fastest-growing and most significant fields for legal science today. During the visit, the participants discussed the experience of both universities in international research projects, as well as cooperation with the business sector. Future opportunities for cooperation between the Faculties of Law of the University of Latvia and Vilnius University were also outlined.
The visit also took place on Shadow Day, organised by Junior Achievement Latvia, during which Vice-Dean Vadims Mantrovs was joined by two student “shadows” from Jelgava Secondary School No. 5, who gained insight into academic work and the legal education environment.
